Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Mohammad Taghi Mirzajani, director of the council’s media communications office, said that from every province a few top Quran reciters, especially young reciters, will take the course. It is slated to be held from August 2-5 in Tehran.
40 reciters have been selected to attend the four-day course at the Fath-ol-Mobin cultural center in Tehran.
They will be given lessons on different nuances of Quran recitation techniques.
He said different sideline programs will also be held for the participants.
The Supreme Quran Council is made up of representatives of different organizations and government bodies including the Islamic Development Organization, Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), and Education Ministry.
